Case Study: Written Task

You are required to read the case study and submit written tasks demonstrating ability to create and implement a change management strategy.

Case Study:

You are a manager at an organisation 'Jannali House Services' that provides basic home care for clients who are elderly and/or have disabilities/mental health issues. You manage a group of 15 casual Support Workers who go into clients homes, bathe them, clean the house, assist with cooking and give respite.

As an organisation, this means that there are major changes to your organisational operations and policies. You have received funding from the government to become a Veteran Affair provider. Your new clients will consist mainly of Vietnam Veterans and other veterans who suffer from PTSD and have emotional and mental health issues. You need to train your staff in being able to deal with behaviours of concern such as alcohol addiction, self-harm and emotional difficulties.

Your report must include the following and use the templates provided:

1. An analysis and review of the current organisation including:

a. Performance Gaps -

objective performance gap stakeholders

b. A SWOT (internal) analysis of the current organisation including analysis of key systems and processes, existing policies and practices and supply chains.

c. A PESTLE analysis of the current external organisation

2. Based upon your review identify and prioritise change requirements and opportunities for the organisation in consultation with relevant managers.

3. A risk analysis and cost benefit analysis for the change with the highest priority. See appendix for the risk matrix and examples.
