Case-Study The Artz Buzz Company in Jamaica is devoted to the development of young art talents, and as such has decided to launch an art competition among high school students ages 14- 17. The company, through its promotions and advertising agency, Gatsby Advertising, placed an advertisement in the Jamaica Gleaner, requesting interested students to submit art pieces depicting the theme "Jamaica: Then and Now." Martin Thompson, a grade 11 art student at Gordon High School, saw the advertisement and decided he would enter because he had some great ideas that would fit the theme of this year's competition. He responded to the advertisement by submitting his art piece in accordance with the requirements outlined in the advertisement. Soon after Martin's submission, the Artz Buzz Company issued a news release over the radio, in which they offered to pay a sum of $150,000.00 to all those persons whose drawings was chosen among the top 5.
