You now need to bring together your understanding of the challenge and your understanding of the industry/occupation to address the central question of this assessment task: Given what you have learnt about the ch Plan out each paragraph of the memo, ensuring every paragraph relates to and responds to the assessment task. At this stage also note the key requirements of an introduction and conclusion and make some notes on what you will need to include in these two sections. Preparing to write the memo Summarise the articles you will use in the memo, making note of the article's title, introduction, its thesis (or argument), the methods used in the research and the evidence and results. Make notes and use a highlighter for key points throughout the article. For more information click here. Analyse the article. Read the article again, this time adopting a critical and analytical view. Think about any problems or issues with the article and/or the research the article is based on, and any limitations with the article or the research. Working on a plan before commencing the writing stage is one of the key steps you can take to produce a quality work. Writing a detailed plan also makes the writing stage much easier. At this stage you should have some good notes about each of the articles you are going to use in the memo. 4. Assessment Tips 4.5. Writing the memo Once you've written your plan, read and review the marking rubric for this assignment. Read over the criteria and then go over your plan, checking you have covered each of the criteria listed in the marking rubric. Write the memo. You can now gather all the information collected to write the memo. As you write, refer to the marking rubric and the assessment question to ensure you are responding to the requirements of the assignment task. Reference using the APA method. As you write the essay, have an APA reference guide open to refer to, so you ensure that every citation and every item in the reference list is recorded correctly according to the APA method.
