Wells completed the building two months late. The state canceled the contract and leased space elsewhere. Wells sued and proved at trial that the delay was caused by the state's failure to indicate locations for electrical fixtures, outlets, and other details as required by the contract.

Chapter 21 #4 -Landrum, a collector of automobiles, was interested in buying a limited edition Chevrolet Corvette from Devenport. Devenport agreed the price would be the sticker price, $24,000 to $28,000. The car arrived with a sticker price of $24,688.21, but as a result of the demand for the car, the market price was $32,000.

Is Landrum entitled to buy it for the sticker price? Why or why not?
