Chapter 4 also explores the concepts of civil and criminal law. It can be confusing when we begin discussing the difference between felonies, misdemeanors, and civilltort actions. When I was learning this, it was helpful to me to visualize where would the person committing the act go? While certainly not covering every case or potential outcome, it gets the point across.
