The ionic polymerization of styrene (ST) is carried out in tetrahydrofuran solutions using n-butyl lithium.
The following conditions are used: [ST] = 1 M, [n-butyl lithium] = 0.005 M.
Calculate the degree of polymerization at 50% monomer conversion and at full monomer conversion using the conditions described in 1.

Styrene contains some trace of water (0.01 wt%). Estimate the degree of polymerization at full monomer conversion if we take in consideration of the traces of water using the conditions described in 1.
