Chi buys a second-hand Contract Law book from Nina for $50. After he hands over the money to Nina, Chi notices some writing on the side of the book. He asks Nini for an assurance that the book is unmarked as he wants to take the book into the examination room. Nina gives Chi such an assurance. It transpires that the book has a number of pages with highlights and some writing.
