Note that you should make a meaningful effort regarding your corporation choice because you will be using this same corporation throughout the semester for various assessments. So if you can find a corporation that you find interesting or have some tie to the business, it might make the assignments more interesting.

Once you have determined your corporation, please go to the most recent 10-K on EDGAR and address the following in your discussion post.

1. Which corporation did you choose?
2. Was there any specific reason you chose this corporation?
3. According to the 10-K describe the type of business in which the corporation operates.
4. Which accounting firm audited the corporation and what type of audit opinion was received?
5. Read the letters from the CEO and the chairman and discuss the type of information learned from these communications that might be useful to a decision maker regarding the corporation.
6. Read the Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) and discuss the future prospects of the corporation.
