From a global perspective , the project is about identifying and describing a specific current global issue or challenge that involves or impacts Personal Finance and Financial Planning . This project is an opportunity to utilize all the information and resources you have learned in Financial Planning . The project paper should address the following : 1. Discuss if you had the opportunity to work in another country upon graduating from college . This would involve you working and living in another country , such as Dubai , China , Australia , London , Paris , Greece , Japan and etc. ( Choose a country of your choice ) . 3. Accepting the job in the country of your choice , how would the new job assignment affect your life ? What type of housing would you choose ? Discuss housing and compare and contrast from living in the U.S. verses in another country . 4. Another current event example would be to discuss how this particular current event affect jobs , interest rates , housing market investments , personal finance and financial planning 5. After researching the topic , students will write a short research paper that examines the problem and / or issue and ultimately suggest a realistic way to address the problem / issue . 6. The paper should analyze and discuss the implications and consequences of action or inaction to address the specific global issue or challenge . 7. While applying the knowledge over the semester of this course evaluate possible solutions to the selected topic from the perspectives of ethical , economic , political and social implications .
