Choose a domestic industry and domestic company (preferably the company you work for as you know the firm better) and then scope and develop a meaningful set of scenarios discussing the use of IT megatrends such as big data, AI, analytics, and business intelligence to support decision-making and operations suitable to management's approach (either shaping/visionary or adaptive/protective). In the discussions, we also evaluate decision-making from an information perspective and distinguish among information deliveries.

For the assignment, the paper has to meet the standard of an academic paper, with full use of the Harvard referencing system in terms of sources, referencing and layout.

Use subheadings to assist the reader. It is critical that you do not merely reflect only what you have read but also show insight (own critique and interpretation) with the use of relevant material that is well motivated. You are encouraged to use academic articles and the references should have been published in the last five years (2016-2022). Where applicable, these sources and references may include your textbook and the other papers recommended in this module overview. In other words, you must show that you are familiar with information and knowledge management concepts and theories, and that you have consulted relevant literature.
