Choose a topic you know little about but would like to know more. Write out a series of questions about the topic you would like to find the answers to, then place them in order according to one of the organizational patterns discussed for informative speeches. After you determine which pattern of organization you will use, figure out one or two additional ways of organizing the speech. After you have done that, determine the pros and cons for each organizational method.
