2. within your selected country or region, you then focus on a specific event. This event could be a recent conflict, movement, revolution, cultural issue, or other significant historical or current events; 

3. You will analyse this particular event. 

You may start by providing a background to this event, briefly describe it, and offer your analysis of it. Here "analysis" means discussing the why, where, how, when and then offer your interpretation. So simply summarizing data that I can find on google myself will not get you a good grade. I'm interested in your input and interpretation. It is important that in your analysis you build upon the course materials we've covered. This does not mean that your analysis should be limited to the course materials only. But you should meaningfully engage with at least some of this material.
