Choose one of the following project ideas to do. You are to implement the logic diagram of the project objective and then represent it with actual chips. Clock pulses and external signals come from signal generators or buttons and switches. You can just wire in a clock pulser or an audio generator whenever needed.

1. Simulate an alarm clock. It is a digital alarm clock that has four 7-segment displays for the time. Have it update every minute, where 1 clock pulse is equal to 1 second. It follows a 24 hour clock so the time is not according to AM/PM. There is also an alarm at 8:00 that emits an audio signal for 1 minute. If the silence button is not pressed, then it emits another alarm audio signal at 8:05. If the button is pressed either during the first or second alarm, the audio signal ends immediately; and in the case of the first alarm, it prevents the second alarm from occuring.
