Choosing Appropriate Statistical Tests

Research designs depend on selecting an appropriate statistical procedure to test hypotheses. Based on the research design you selected and the hypotheses you composed, summarize the results of a published study which used the design and statistic test you will likely use for your mini-project. Share insights you gained from reading a similar study and questions you still have about the design and corresponding statistical tests.

• How did the authors of the related study conduct their statistical tests? Did they reject or fail to reject their hypotheses? On what basis?
• Which statistical tests are appropriate for your hypotheses and design?
• What are the parametric and non-parametric alternatives for the statistical tests you might use?
