These standards are not affected by the context of the act, the consequences that follow, or the intentions behind it, as stated by Jibben, 2015. The existence of moral absolutes plays a crucial role in guiding the pursuit of ethical understanding. A Christian has a duty to illuminate what constitutes correct behavior based on a universal moral impulse. According to the Grand Canyon University, Statement on the Integration of Faith and Work, The Lord Jesus instructed His followers to live as salt and light within society, which implies a call to live out our lives in ways that contribute to the common good. Regardless of what profession one chooses, it is possible to honor God and follow one's professional dreams without compromising one's faith. It's important to remember that every vocation has the potential to be equally honorable before God and that ethical understandings should guide our actions in the workplace.

There can be various perspectives on ethics, leading to different interpretations of what constitutes moral behavior. A statement from the text that resonated with me, states Christianity recognizes that there are personal ethics derived from personal experience and societal ethics derived from ancestors and societal values, but Christianity also recognizes that there is a universal ethic given to humanity by God. That universal ethic is intended to keep people from harm and direct them toward personal and public well-being (Jibben, 2015). Conscious capitalism involves ethical business practices that elevate humanity when practiced consciously (GCU, Conscious Capitalism at GCU). Conscious capitalism plays a crucial in government and nonprofits because these entities are in place to serve our communities. Most community members that benefit from these programs are diverse, vulnerable, and underrepresented minorities of our communities.

In the accounting industry, there are many ways to demonstrate servant leadership. This leadership style involves understanding God's intentions when it comes to power, authority, rule, headship, service, and humility (GCU, Leadership Styles and Leadership Programs at GCU). By embodying these values, leaders can serve their colleagues and clients effectively, creating a positive impact on both the organization and the wider community. I would emphasize that adhering to their ethical accounting industry standards promotes forward-thinking initiatives and create accounting leaders that inspire and motivate others.
