Clarke was engaged as an agent by Luther. In that capacity /position, he has been buying goods from Kent on behalf of Luther for the past six months. Recently Clarke made another order of goods from Kent using a letter that has Luther's business letterhead. The goods were delivered to Clarke at Luther's premises. Clarke then disappeared with the goods. Kent is now claiming against Luther for the price of the goods. Advise Luther on his liability for the contract entered by Clarke.
