Clifford Korankye is a 16-year-old boy and a second-year student of Kumasi Academy. Sometime in January 2021 he purchased some books on credit for his studies from Joyce, a 50-year-old book vendor worth GHS200.00. Based on the terms of the contract between the parties, Clifford Korankye was under the obligation to pay for the books within seven (7) days. However, when the time due for payment came, Clifford refused to fulfill her obligation under the agreement.
