For adjustments C and D, the formula to compute accelerated depreciation is: Asset's beginning balance (or balance at date of purchase) Depreciation X rate Period of time the asset was used during the period Note: (a) that the company's policy is to depreciate property and equipment for an entire month regardless of the date of purchase of the asset during the month. (b) No depreciation was recorded throughout the whole year, i.e. you are recording depreciation for the whole year (except the for December purchases which need to be proportioned)
