Close to one-fourth of expectant mothers experience childbirth earlier than the anticipated due date. A research study is conducted to assess the impact of a novel medication on the occurrence of early labor, in comparison to an established medication and a non-active substance (placebo). Expectant mothers participating in the study are randomly chosen to be given either the new medication, the conventional medication, or the placebo. These women are monitored up until the time of birth, and their deliveries are categorized based on whether they occur before 37 weeks (pre-term) or at full term. The results are displayed below.
