Collection of BioData / Employee Information
Scenario During a recent meeting of a selection committee on which you sit, the question came up as to whether or not the process of gathering information about candidates at your firm was effective, efficient, and legal. Because you are currently taking an Employee Selection course, you offered to do some research on methods of collecting employee information and report back to the committee. You wanted to prepare a handout which would assist in the follow-up discussion.
Assignment - List at least two examples in each cell of the table beginning on the following page, comparing and contrasting the benefits, limitations, legal implications, Best practices and practices to avoid when collecting BioData / Employee Information during the selection process. Where the textbook does not provide at least two examples, indicate such with N/A.
