come up with a list of 10 objectively measurable factors that you feel are very important to you. Examples have been: life expectancy, literacy rate, gender equality, income, beer consumption, cell phone usage; whatever matters to you. You may not consider the specific language spoken, a specific race, or a specific religion. Assume you came from another planet and would blend in. You are certainly free to pick diversity, homogeneity, devotedness, or respect for religion, if that is important to you. There is no right or wrong answer here. The list is what matters to you. What are your values?

Second: Rank these factors giving them some kind of point value based on their importance to you. For example, life expectancy might mean more to you than cell phone reception. Some can be the same; some would probably be more important.

Third, for each of your values, you are to do research in order to determine which countries have been most successful in achieving them. List, in order, what are the top four countries for each of your values.

Last: Devise an index or point system, for each value so you come up with which are the top 3 countries that are best for you. The grading will be based on the quality of the research, the appropriateness of your data in describing and measuring your values, and the method of devising your index. Your values will of course not be considered.
