Comel, Manis and Jelita are partners in a business of planning weddings. No partnership agreement was signed as they are best friends since schooling and therefore, they trust each other very much. Later, Comel, who is a dormant partner, wishes to sell her interest to Jelita. Comel had appointed a valuer to inspect the partnership book. However, Manis and Jelita refuse to allow the valuer to do the inspection. In the meantime, Manis had introduced Ayu, her cousin, as a new partner without first obtaining consent from the other partners. Jelita disagrees with Manis action and wishes to object the introduction of new partner. Advice the parties on all the issues above with reference to the Partnership Act 1961 and decided cases.
