An occasion I have used probability in my daily life is when trying to guess which sports team is going to win the next big game. Many of us watch espn or fox sports, and the commentators always have the statistics. Giving backgrounds on all the players and how they have been performing, as well as the stats on the team as a whole. This also help sports betters choose a team, for example a sports better will choose a team with a 75% chance on winning versus a team with 25% chance on winning.

One occasion where I use probability in my daily life is knowing whether I am able to go to the beach based on the weather forecast. I live in the keys so going to the beach to tan is an everyday thing. So being able to use probability based on the weather forecast is important. For instance if there is a 40 percent chance of rain, I use probability to access the likelihood of rain and if I would be able to go tanning that day.
