1. What are the challenges of entering a very crowded food market where there is NO IP protection to create barriers to entry?

Competition can be one of the major challenges in the market. When there is good quality food, taste thats better than others who are in the market, service which can make them visit again, way of cooking and processing the food helped chicken salad chick drive in a better path. Investments are another major challenge that Stacey faced in her business. They did not bother about the ownership of the business and sold 51% share which resulted in nearly losing the business. Later other investments helped them to get back in form.

2. What would you do differently if you encountered Stacey's issues in building her business?

In case if I was Stacey, I would take care of the partnership legally. I would hire a lawyer to deal with the legal procedures. I would target a higher range of markets other than teachers. This can reach more people which leads to the expansion of business.
