Managing my to-do lists at home and at work are a little different. My priorities range differently and therefore have to be managed differently. My work priorities currently are prioritized by money management. I check our company bank balances - this tells me what is clearing the bank before noon. Depending on when our mail arrives with deposits and receivables, I have to play a balancing act on deciding what, if anything, to borrow for the day. The work priority list is different from day to day, but determining the most important and critical project or task to be done first can make the rest of the tasks go easier. Setting deadlines for completion are important as well. Planning the task, starting the task, execution, monitoring and close are important to all tasks, whether complex or simple. Communication with others who will be involved, establishing timelines, deliverables and so on
