Compose a thoughtful response to the topic, "Thank your for sharing Schein's insight of culture and how he defines culture. I really enjoyed watching Schein's interview as it taught me a lot on how managers perceive culture differently and each one has a different vision of how the business should run or operate so they seek changes that may or may not benefit the company and therefore, that manager is changing the culture. Schein also mentions how "new managers" come in and they always try to implement change, but if there isn't anything wrong with the way it's working why change it. Therefore, it's due to the different personalities that come in to place. There are also the sub-group managers that create their own culture within their own departments as Schein described they also play an important role on the definition of culture. As you mentioned, there also "best practices" that Schein's describes them to be irrelevant and do not work because it depends on the organization because not all fits one. Great post
