First, you need to download the balance sheet and income statement for Exxon (XOM) from D2L The Exxon's financial statements are from Capital IQ where you will download the financial statements needed for your project. You are required to use the excel spreadsheet to calculate the financial ratios of Exxon according to the statements given for the assignment. The details of the ratios you shall complete and report are listed in a page attached with the financial statements that you will download from D2L too. We will discuss how to use the excel spreadsheet to calculate ratios, and how to format the ratios, etc. in our lab class. Make sure you could do it well and let me know if you have questions. Successful completion of this computer assignment is an essential preparation for your term paper.
