Conclude this experiences I have personally experienced this. My job search since transitioning out of education has been exhausting. Not having any professional experience in HR has made it difficult for me to transition career fields. While I have an extensive resume, including volunteering for several organizations, it was very difficult to even get an interview. I have worked with a number of organizations, at Rutgers and hiring programs, to rewrite my resume. And while I have a number of transferable skills it was hard to find a job. Katherin: Indeed, this is the biggest challenge for me. I have not been able to find an opportunity in the HR field. It took me many years to be able to move from a food and beverage server/supervisor position. Finally, one of the hotels where I was working decided to give me an opportunity as Meeting Director where I have learned a lot and developed multiple skills. Although job hunting can be a long and challenging process. I will stay positive, and I will keep applying, since I understand that rejection is a normal part of the process
