Conduct a REBA or RULA analysis (you decide what makes sense!) on your chosen person in the photo and complete each of the following for full marks: 1. Complete a REBA or RULA worksheet. (HINT: refer to eConestogas In-Class lecture modules for templates; both Excel and PDF). 2. Show and calculate the intermediate (in-process) table scores and overall scores for each applicable step of the REBA or RULA worksheet. 3. Write a report that would be directed to the operations manager of the company, summarizing your analysis of the task. Include the following: a. Describe and explain the task. (what, when, where, how often, etc.) Make and/or state any assumptions that you need to, in order to complete this practically. b. Is the task being safe? Or is the worker at risk for WMSD? Justify this by quantifying the risk (i.e. from the REBA or RULA score) c. Regardless of the task being safe or at risk for WMSD, suggest at least two (2) improvements that could be implemented to improve/lower the level of risk for the task. (i.e. what controls could be implemented?) Be creative, practical, feasible. Show images or sketches of the improvement idea where/if possible so that the ideas are clearly communicated. d. Considering your suggestions from c.) above, re-do the REBA or RULA analysis in order to quantify your improvements. e. Write a very brief summary and conclusion to finalize the report. No minimum word count.
