Task 2: Feasibility Study | "City Center' chain of supermarkets in Sharjah grew to many branches very quickly and they didn't care of having one system for all of their different branches. The chain of supermarkets so far has 4 branches and one big warehouse. Their P.O.S systems are not connected to their warehouse, so they don't have real-time knowledge of their stock. They depend on employees to check the warehouse stock and manually write the stock content and provide stock to supermarkets.... The supermarket chain manager decided that he needs as soon as possible a warehouse system with a common database with all of the 4 different branches. He chose "you" as a System Analyst" to conduct a feasibility study for the new required solution. The manager expects that the new system will reduce clerical time and errors, increase customer satisfaction where items will never run out of stock or be overstock and their warehouse will be more organized. The manager just put one condition that the system must be installed by June 1st (you are meeting in end of January). He expects a full report by mid of February with a full detailed planning.
