Congress does not do a good job in representing local interests because from what i have seen is that the local interest have not been met, and that only the national interest is being put in priority instead of the locals. From what i know is that congress doesn't meet the local needs because there are multiple protests and multiple pleads for change to happen for the betterment of their economy but instead congress doesn't pass anything to help the districts and make it better for the people, instead they only pass things that are better for national. At least that what i think and see for my self; i do not see much change happening for the districts and the people instead they are left to suffer and no one is really going to help change anything to get them to live comfortably or live better than what they are used to living in
