Connor and Barbara were married in Idaho in December. The set out for a new life together with no particular destination in mind. They worked for a farmer in Nebraska for almost six months and lived in a house provided by the farmer at a modest rent. Then in Jone they moved on to take jobs in Baltimore, Maryland. They decided to stay in Baltimore permanently and ope their own tatto parlor and taxidermy service. Approximately one month after they left, the farmer in Nebraske discoered that Conner and Barbara had virtually destroyed the interior of the rental house. They had left the animals that Conner had killed while hunting and then unsuccessfully attemped to suff as he practiced taxidermy skills. The animals had been decomposing in the house during the hear of summer until the farmer noticed the small from a quarter-mile away.
