- Phenomenology
- Grounded Theory- rarely used at GCU unless the researcher is already an experienced researcher and has more time to spend to finish his/her doctoral journey related to the depth of data and multiple iterations of data required
- Ethnography- extremely rarely used at GCU for the same reasons.
