Consider that there is an object that absorbs all of the wavelengths of the visible spectra except for a very narrow range of wavelengths near 675 nm. It looks bright orangish red when outside lit by the sun. If I take it inside to a room lit with fluorescent lights, how would it's appearance change ? ( the emission spectra of the sun is shown by the solid curve, and that of a fluorescent light by the multi-peaked dashed curve)
