Consider the following conflict situation, which happened in Vancouver in 2020: A customer tried to enter a pet store which had a mandatory mask policy. She was stopped at the door and asked to put on a mask. She said that she could not wear a mask because she has asthma, but did not provide any proof. The store employees refused to let her enter the store unmasked, and offered her the option of wearing a face mask provided by the store, or ordering online and picking up her purchases outside the store. The customer refused and started to shout, claiming that she was a friend of the owner and they would be fired if they did not let her into the store. She also said that the store's policy was against "human rights law" (which is not true) and that masks are ineffective against the spread of COVID-19. The store employees calmly repeated that the policy applied to all customers and that she was welcome to enter the store if she would wear the mask they offered her. The customer grew very angry, saying "If I wear a mask, I will be short of breath within 30 seconds, dizzy within a minute, and I will pass out and smash my head on your floor and then I will sue you tens of thousands of dollars for forcing me to jeopardize my health." Referring to the textbook and lecture slides for Chapter 9, answer the following: 1. What type of conflict is this, and what was/were the source (s) of conflict? 2. To which stage of conflict did this situation escalate? What evidence from the scenario supports this? 3. Which conflict-handling style (conflict resolution approach) was used a) by the customer, and b) by the store employees? What evidence from the scenario supports this
