Consider the graph. A graph plots depth against percentage of cells belonging to domain to show how the percentage of Bacteria, Euryarchaeota, and Thaumarchaeota changes with depth. The horizontal axis is labeled Percentage of cells belonging to domain and ranges from 0 to 80, in increments of 20. The vertical axis is labeled Depth (in meters) and ranges from 0 to 5000 from top to bottom, in irregular intervals. The curve for Euryarchaeota begins at (8, 5000) and waves slightly as it runs almost vertically to above 10. The curve for Thaumarchaeota begins at (38, 5000) and zigzags somewhat vertically until it begins to curve left one-third of the way from 1000 to 100. It then runs at a slight diagonal to the left until over halfway from 100 to 10 before running upward almost vertically, overlapping the curve for Euryarchaeota. The curve for Bacteria begins at (41, 5000) and bends left until just over halfway between 5000 and 1000, then bends gradually to the right to 80 and almost halfway between 100 and 10, at which point it runs almost vertically for a short distance before ending above 10. All data are approximate. What can be concluded from the data in the graph? Euryarchaeota show low tolerance for deep water. For almost every depth, most of the cells sampled are bacterial. Euryarchaeota are unable to exploit resources at any depth. There is an inverse relationship for the number of bacterial and thaumarchaeote cells at every depth.?
