Consider two of the "clients" with OCD listed below. For eachof your chosen clients, read the list of their obsessions and write a response reflecting on:

1. Compulsions that you might expect this client to experience.

2. How they might be treated using each"door" or wave of therapy mentioned in the podcast (Door 2: Beck Cognitive Therapy,

Door 3: Mindfulness/Behavior Therapy). *Note: you must address both types of therapy in your response.

Clients:

Client Ais very concerned about becoming sick, thinks that they caught diseases from touching things in public places, and believes dirt is always on their hand.

Client Bhas intrusive thoughts about harming other people and himself, such as pushing other people in front of a train or stabbing them with a knife.

Client Chas sexual thoughts about other people she interacts with, and thoughts of doing embarrassing things like taking off her clothes in public. She also fears offending God, for example by blurting something out in church.

Client Dconstantly worries about their safety, for example, thinking that they did not lock the house, that they left the stove on at night, or that they left the iron on before leaving for work.

Client Econstantly worries about whether they did something bad: for example, whether they've stolen something, killed someone, or lied, even when they know that they have not done so.
