Consider what rights if any exist in photos left to you by your uncle. Assume that your Uncle Jeff took photos of the Beatles, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and folks in the audience back in the day. Also assume that he did nothing with the photos in his lifetime. Finally,there are no agreements between Uncle Jeff and the subjects of the photos. What are the rights that you have in those photos. Name some issues that arise in the possible public display of those photos on a T-shirt or in a museum for the arts.
