Consider your own organization (or one that you have worked with in the past). What total rewards does your company offer and what opportunities are there for improvement?

In addition to insurance options, my husbands employer offers a well-being incentive program. The program gives employees points for completing wellness-improving activities like completing health assessments, biometric screenings, working out regularly, attending seminars, creating budgets, meditating, and more. Every thousand points earned gives employees a cash bonus that is paid out on their next paycheck. The program is designed to keep staff healthy and engaged with a mindset of wellbeing. It also offers discounts on various health services and programs for financial, physical, prenatal, and mental health.

They also have a list of businesses/stores that we can get discounts through for health, travel, and many other options. His employer also has benefits such as EAP and they have hotlines for employees that are open 24/7.

Some changes they could make for better opportunities would be going back to being able to work from home. They invested a lot of money into being able to do so as a company when the pandemic hit and once it slowed down the CEO started laying people off that worked from home and making changes that existing employees had to do so less. As of about a week ago he wants all employees in office, this is a big change that is affecting many employees in a negative way. They are also losing many employees due to this change.
