Consumer demand

Assuming that goods sold at Best Buy and goods sold at Amazon are identical (which is not true in reality, as Amazon carries a far wider selection of goods, which may have an impact on consumer demand) and both offered delivery, why would a customer prefer one firm over the other? Think in terms of preferences and reputation.
