The current conversion rate is less than 10%. With such a low conversion rate there is a high risk that students will not continue to work in the Bookkeeping profession. This impacts the ongoing sustainability and long-term success of the organisation. The Project What support and services do we need to deliver to grow the engagement levels of students to better meet their needs whilst they are studying? What do we need to deliver to transition students into the profession as a voting member of the organisation? The target audience Vocational Students studying: Bookkeeping Accounting Accounts Administration * Note - often students of bookkeeping are mature aged students The Current Situation Students - Accredited Training Provider program to engage with Registered Training Organisations which offers free membership to students of those RTO's Challenge 2 Jobs & Skills Australia* reported in November 2023 that there are were: 97,500 Employed Bookkeepers 144,600 Accounting Clerks 93,000 Accounts Clerks Finding and attracting these employees to be voting members of the Organisation has been difficult.
