copied information from a site without giving proper credit, the grade for the assignment will be an automatic zero and the instructor may fill out and file an academic dishonesty form. 1. Use a search engine and find at least 3 websites that have statistics (data) of some type available. Name these sites, and the browser you used to find them. Make certain that your site has statistics available and is not simply a website which defines statistics or explains how to perform statistical computations. Sites which are simply articles which contain statistics are also not acceptable. Choose 1 of these 3 to explore a little further. Write at least one paragraph with a minimum of 100 words that describes the type of data available on this website which might be of interest or beneficial to you. 2. Go to the college website and access the library databases. Do a search for 3 peer reviewed journals that might be of interest to you. This is a place where many students mess up. A journal is something like American Journal of Nursing, not an article from a journal. Name the journals, and explain how you used the college library databases to find journals and then how you could refine your search to find articles about specific topics. This description should be in two paragraphs, one for the journal search and one for the article search and should contain a minimum of 150 words. 3. Use a search engine to explore what type of access to journals in your field is available. Describe what you find using complete sentences and at least 100 words. 4. Conduct your own research. Ask 25 people a question which requires a short answer . You may devise a survey that you send out. Please do not use open-ended questions or ask multiple questions on your survey. Also, make sure that your responses have more than two possible outcomes--no yes, no type answers. Record your responses and submit them for this project and also hold onto a copy of these as a part of the project coming up in a later Module. For this part of the project do the following: a. What was your question? b. Describe how you collected your data. c. What form of sampling was this? Explain. d. Submit a list of your raw data. Do not organize or summarize this data
