Copyrights for music are widely violated, with most music available on the internet. Some musicians even bypass recording studios to play their music directly on the internet, then hope to make profits with live performances. It is also very difficult to distinguish between tunes which inspired other music (legal) and tunes which ae so close as to be copied (illegal).
