Corporate environment during and COVID-19 and in a post pandemic situation still requires compliance with Corporate Governance (CG) requirement. In Malaysia, it is considered to be a key aspect of corporate culture to uphold transparency and accountability within the internal staff workforce, organisational structure, etc. based on present Malaysian literature review, explain Corporate Governance, its objectives, purpose and functions. Further review and evaluate the implication of Corporate Governance on Malaysian corporate sector for employees and board of directors of companies in Malaysia. Find out if Corporate Governance is a mandatory requirement for companies in Malaysia. In conclusion, need example by comparative study in UK and USA generally and compare it with the Malaysian position on the weaknesses of current Corporate Governance practice.
