Corporations and Constitutional Rights:

Section 5 of the Washington State Constitution provides: "Every person may freely speak, write and publish on all subjects, being responsible for the abuse of that right."

Article 12 of the Washington State Constitution provides: "No law shall be passed granting to any citizen, class of citizens, or corporation other than municipal, privileges or immunities which upon the same terms shall not equally belong to all citizens, or corporations."

Question: Should there be any limit to the amount of "speech" granted to corporations? In this regard, it should be observed that corporations frequently exercise their right to speak by donating money (sometimes large amounts of money) to various public and political causes.
