Corporations and individual consumers should have joint responsibility for sustaining the environment. Consumers live on this earth for only a short period of time, and taking care of the environment is important. The idea behind having corporations and individual consumers being joint is needed because the corporations can create products that consumers will buy, but it needs to come at a more efficient and effective manner rather than making it so expensive; No one is going to want to change if its so expensive. Growing up in school they would have students go through assembly's to help the environment, by turning off water while brushing your teeth, using a reusable water bottle instead of plastic and many more. There should be programs or rewards for an obligation to support the environment. Although, it would not be fair to make people contribute to helping the environment if they do not have the economic means to, but making it affordable for all is the key point. Sustaining the environment should not be a political topic, so it should be conversed and polls taken, or even more awareness spread through the medias that is no biased.
