image text in transcribedcould someone help me solve this math problem in my trading? I have a total of 200 shares with an average of 187$ per share. Early this morning, the TSLA stock worth 177$ per share. I decided to cut my loss and sold all my shares at 177$ per share. And re-enter at the same price to lower my average and hold it for as long as possible. I expect to have a loss of 1900$ by doing so.. However, I was able to rebuy the same amount of shares before I had sold and my new average went from 187$ per share to 177$ per share . I bought all 200 TSLA stocks back with the same dollars. I am also on margin account. So how is this make sense? Why am I still able to buy back for the same amount of shares if I sold at a loss? My P&L is indeed said 1900$. But how am I still able to buy the same amount of shares back? Please advise if I actually lose anything?
