Could you maybe help me understand how to use multivariable calculus in order to calculate the surface are of a Pringles (hyperbolic paraboloid)?

I know how to use double integration with polar coordinates and limitations, however, since the Pringles is not circular, but rather elliptical, I do not really understand where to start.

Also, what determines the a and b in the equation of a hyperbolic paraboloid?
