a[sin(i)+sin(m)]=m where i is the angle of incidence, m is the m 'th angle of diffraction, a is the distance between lines on the grating (so 1/a is the line density), and is the wavelength of incident light. Using any program you like, create a linear fit based on the data in Table 1 to determine the line density (1/a) in the unit of lines/mm. Then find the uncertainty in 1/a using either your linear fit (you may use the equation k discussed in Lecture 6) or the measured parameters expressed in eqn. (1). You may complete this problem in any format (typed/typeset/handwritten/etc.) so long as it is legible.
