Could you pls answer and explain to make me easy to understand Two case studies as well as the following below. -Identification of the issues -Identification of the applicable legal rules (principles of law derived from cases and statutes) -Analysis of the facts and application of the law to the facts -Conclusion

-Referencing

For this task, you are required to provide a Reference List. At the end of your report, there should be a list of the references you have used in compiling your case studies. For cases you should give the full case citation, thus Donoghue v Stevenson [1932] AC 562 and for legislation you should identify the jurisdiction in which the legislation was promulgated as well as the full title of the legislation and the year in which it was passed, thus Acts Interpretation Act 1901 (Cth) together with the sections to which reference was made. Cite the textbook and relevant cases in your answer. You must comply with the usual legal conventions regarding the italicisation of case names and full case citations with the year and reporting reference. For example, Carlill v Carbolic Smoke Ball Co [1893] 1 QB 256. If you are citing the textbook, the citation is Fitzpatrick, Synes, Veljanovski, Parker, p. (page number).

CASE STUDY 1

Jane knows that Andrew is studying Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Tasmania. She sends a message to him on Facebook offering to sell her textbook to him for $80. She does shift work and does not want to receive phone calls. In her message, she states that if he is interested, he needs to post a message to her on Facebook only. Andrew telephones Jane and leaves a message on Jane's mobile with an offer to buy the textbook for $70. Jane was very annoyed when her mobile rang while she was at work, so she contacted Andrew to reject his offer. Andrew has no luck finding another second-hand textbook, so the next day, he posted another message to Jane on Facebook to buy the textbook for $80. Jane replies that she has sold the textbook to another student. Andrew replies that he accepted her offer of the sale yesterday and that she has no right to sell the book to another student.

Is there an agreement between Andrew and Jane? Why/Why not?

CASE STUDY 2

One day at the local supermarket, Wilson sees a Football Club stand offering a football jersey signed by his favourite player. He enters the competition to win this jersey by guessing the correct weight of a nominated player. He fills in a coupon with his contact details, guessing a weight of 115.5 kg. The next week Wilson sees that the competition has been won with a correct guess of 115.5 kg. Since this was his guess, he queries why he did not win the prize. The Football Club denies that Wilson submitted a coupon, and points to a clause on the coupons which states that "any agreement entered into was binding in honour only".

Can Wilson sue the Football Club for breach of contract since his guess was correct? Why/Why not?
